Stayed In Room 3 (Single Room). The bed was comfortable, the room just about big enough, the shower adequate although temperature control difficult to use. I stayed with a bike and was allowed to lock it up outside in a garden shed. I only ate toast and coffee for breakfast but everyone else's cooked breakfasts looked good. The owners were... More

We stopped here for a few nights to explore the area and were happy with the stay. The rooms were pleasant enough and the wi-fi worked well which was useful. The breakfast timings were quite restricted with a 30 minute window, but it suited us ok, and the full English was very nice. Our only little gripe was that biscuits... More

A big welcome from the landlady. The location is good being near enough the old town to leave your car in the car park and toddle along the Abbey Forgate for your evening meal and bevy. Room five is nice as a single room with a 4’6” bed. Admittedly the mattress had seen better days but I was so tired... More

This is what I describe as an extended B&B, so don't expect hotel accomodation. Room saw reasonably sized with Tea/ Coffee, TV & En Suite. Perhaps a little dated but clean & comfy. Breakfast was excellent. It's about a 15 minute walk into town centre. Overall no gripes.

If you are looking to have quality time away with your partner, be sure to confirm that you have been given a double room. My partner and I were really looking forward to a special night away from home but were terribly disappointed to be allocated a twin room which we did not ask for. There were no double rooms... More

A weekend trip to Shrewsbury led us to book 2 nights at Abbey Court, a professional welcome, a smallish but adequately furnished room with a good en-suite. The television (Olympics were on) system was quite old fashioned but working. Good Bacon & Eggs Breakfast. The car park was a bit uneven but adequate for the number of rooms.

I must say I'm a little surprised by some of the bad reviews below. Whilst the b&b could benefit from some TLC in places, the room we stayed in was large, clean and comfortable with a large clean bathroom. The breakfast was nice and all 3 members of staff we me across including owner Val were friendly and helpful. The... More
