Stayed 2 nights 1st floor overlooking fields - room clean and warm, no damp smell as reported by some visitors. Extra towels, tea and coffee etc provided without any fuss by the very friendly staff. Little Chef next door provided good breakfast and the food at the Red Lion 5 minutes way was fantastic. About 15 minutes to Park &... more

Used this Travelodge when visiting the Bath Christmas market. Not half as bad as many of the reviews suggest. Room normal Travelodge standard. Bed a little hard and shower curtain had seen better days. Everything else quite O.K. for the price. Would use it again if we had to. more

This hotel is in a good location and is in driving distance to all local villages and Bath. Check-in was quick and easy, rooms were a good size and clean, but remember it is a travelodge and you get what you pay for. more

I booked this hotel for one night Mon 2/11/09 for a short trip to bath. I chose this one due to the free parking and because we got it in the Travelodge sale for just £19. On arrival, check-in was quick and easy but it was the smell from the room (no. 19) that was causing a problem. I noticed... more

This hotel was so bad I don't really know where to start. Firstly, the hotel didn't have a lift so it's a good job that there were only two floors. When I opened the door to our room there was a weird chemical smell which turned out to be coming from the bathroom. Here I found it so overwhelming that... more

Before leaving on own trip to area looked at reviews of the Beckington Travel Inn We were alarmed at what we would find when getting there. Therte was no small-dirt- damp, or anything that resemled the quite awful reviews made by others of their visit. The staff were helpfull when needed and we had a very pleasant stay Well done... more

We paid £60 for one night whilst visiting friends staying at Centre Parcs. Quite honnestly, I would have preferred the two hour drive home in the pouring rain. Whilst not expecting the ritz, I was hoping for something that resembled clean. Upon entering at around 9pm the gentleman at recpetion just smiled and nodded..........at whatever we said. We stayed in... more

Our family of 4 stayed here for 2 nights. Admittedly the first night in room 11on the ground floor was a little dingy & the air quality was poor as my son needed his inhaler the following morning quite badly. The staff in the hotel then moved us the following day to an upstairs room 39 which was much brighter... more

I stayed at this travelodge about 4 years ago and thought it very much what I had expected. I am afraid that the quality of the travelodge chain is deteriorating fast and was evident from this visit and visits to two other travelodges in different parts of the country. I travelled with my wife and two older children (14 &... more

Stayed 1 night here (and never again) en route to Centreparcs. In the first room to which we were shown, the stench of damp and mould spores was unbearable. The travel cot given to us was extremely stained and smelled quite badly of faeces, not something fit for a baby. I complained and the next travel cot was new and... more
