We stayed here whilst visiting our daughter at Bath Spa Uni. For us it was the perfect location as we didn't have to go into Bath each time to see her and face the traffic jams. Stayed for three nights and was surprised to be placed in the 'annexe' - had to wheel suitcase over gravel drive and negotiate the stairs (door to annexe wide open to all and sundry). Restaurant menu more like a bar snack menu - difficult to find a range of alternatives to avoid frozen fare so only ate in the 'hotel'... more
The grounds to the hotel are lovely, however, pretty much everything else was awful. The room was small, the decorating extremely basic and the whole place was filthy. Stayed here for my Brothers wedding, and have nothing but good things to say about the hotel. The food is 1st rate. Staff fantastic - nothing seemed to much trouble!
