A 500 acre working farm. Aroma greets you on arrival in farmyard but everything is extremely tidy and rooms face stunning countryside away from farm buildings.
Welcome from Delia, the proprietor, and attention to detail is genuine and personal. We met two other guests, whom we did not know but were going to same party and immediately Delia offered and organised tea in the lounge(with chocolate biscuits!)-no charge.
Our room was compact but we saw others which were much larger. Spotlessly clean and attention to detail impressive. Not JUST a tea tray, it had (more)chocolate biscuits, even 2 personalised pens.
Shower room(most powerful shower ever experienced in UK) had cabinet with deodorant, body lotion, talcum powder, razor etc.
Full farmhouse breakfast was substantial, nicely cooked and served.
All this for GBP25 per person!
There is self-catering apartment also - wonderful base for longer holiday.
