We returned home yesterday following a five night stay at The Carpenters Arms, Stanton Wick and cannot recommend it highly enough. It is a lovely, cosy pub, with very clean, comfortable and contemporary rooms. We were in room 12 and particularly liked this room as it was so light and airy, having two windows, one looking over the Chew Valley.... more

Superb hotel, clean fresh rooms with large kingsize beds and large flat screen tv's! not that you stay in the room that much as the rest of the inn is as good- there are 2 eating areas and the bar with lounge areas with very comfortable sofas! the food was amazin, even though we were on an inclusive room package... more
