We stayed here on out honeymoon and having read the tripadvisor reviews, I requested a room on the 1st floor. We were shown to room 6 which was bigger than I had imagined and were delighted with the view to the Abbey and the rather good bathroom. Fantastic shower and bath and an excellent comfortable bed meant that we had... More

me and my partner were on the top floor, thats a fair few steps but even with my bad foot it was fine. We were in room 14 at the front and this was rather noisy with traffic. The bathroom door didnt close properly nor did it lock - and lets face it there are some things you just dont... More

My husband and I spent a short weekend break here which was perfect. The hotel itself is very clean and tidy. We were on the top floor which is quite a trek up some narrow steps and the room itself was a little small with just a small shower room. That said, the shower was fantastic and the bathroom area... The County Hotel is conveniently situated five to ten minutes walk from the very centre of the city. The rooms are well appointed, with TV, tea and coffee making facilities and a nice en-suite bathroom. Breakfast is either the 'full English' or a buffet 'continental', which, although fine could have a greater variety of cereals and pastries. There is a... More

As our Christmas present from our children we took a mid-week break as Season Members over the New Year. We always go to the Theatre Royal Gala Concert on New Year's Eve so this meant that we could just walk to the theatre. It has been refurbished since we last visited the hotel when it had just been bought by... More

My husband & I stayed here for a short mid week break recently. It is situated in a quiet location only 10 minutes walk from the city centre. The hotel is owned by Seasons Holidays and is only available to members for short breaks, either mid week or weekend. The hotel is very comfortable although the rooms are fairly small.... More

Excellent Hotel. Good breakfasts. Staff are superb. Not far to walk into city centre where there lots of eatting places. Will return soon. We used the open top bus to see the city and a tourr of surrounding district. The roman baths were very impressive.

Stayed here as Seasons members for a long weekend. We had a room at the top overlooking recreation grounds and sports fields which was small but comfortable. The hotel is nicely situated for walking into Bath and the staff were very helpful. If staying for longer we would have booked a room on the ground or first floor, at the... More

Having read the reviews on this site I was a little concerned about my stay. I was shown to a room on the second floor and I thought it was a little small. It did however have a great view of the Abbey. Over the next four days it turned out to be a fantastic place to stay. The location... More
