We had a 3 nights stay at the Braemar and could not recommend it highly enough.Gillian was a perfect host and the double room was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was delicious and cooked to order. It was a very good location Bath town centre was easily accessible from here.

Very clean, big room, a bit cold but electric heater is provided that heats the room up very well. Decent breakfast. Absolutely massive bed - very comfy. 10 minute walk to train station - owner tells you the short cut.

Nice guest house, very pleasant Owner. We had a double room and it was clean and warm. Key given for the front door. Lovely breakfast, full English and all the trimmings. Just a busy road but bearable.

My friend and I stayed at the Braemar Guest House for 3 nights after walking the Cotswold Way. We had the twin room. Very clean and quiet, even though our room faced the road. The decor is done in muted earth tones and adds to the relaxing atmosphere. Gillian is fabulous, and we enjoyed our conversations with her. We had... More

Stopped here with a friend, Gillian is a very welcoming host. She runs a very clean B & B. I agree with the other comments that the walk is 10 mins down hill to the town and the taxi is the same price as the buses. We can recommended The Bear pub for a great evening meal and pleasant decor.... More

As we arrived by train, Gillian kindly let us check in early. Our ground flor room was spacious and well appointed, in fact everything we could have wanted. The walk into Bath took just 10 minutes and we returned on foot to change before going out to dinner. After a lovely evening we were going to get a taxi back... More

Gillian was an excellent host making our stay most enjoyable, the room was... More

This is the first time my boyfriend and I have been to Bath and we couldn't have been more pleased with our stay at the Braemar guest House. The room was clean, tidy, well decorated and very cosy with plenty of room for a double. It had tea/coffee making facilities, freeview, and hairdryer in the room. Gillian really made us... More

This is the third time my boyfriend and i have stayed here and would still go back again. Gillian is very helpful and a fantastic host. Breakfast is made to order and good quality. The only downside is that at night it can get a little noisy and is difficult to park but then again its a struggle to park... More
