We were looking for an apartment based in the centre of Bath for our girlie weekend of shopping and pampering (Christmas Market and spa) and we couldn't have found a better place. "Below Stairs" is within 5 mins walk from train and coach stations and only 2 mins from city centre. Its reached via a spiral staircase down from road level and accommodation is spread over 2 floors (entrance hall, living room, kitchen, shower room and double bedroom on one level, down to twin room and bathroom on another level). The apartment is very clean and your every need is catered for - extra beds are available if required so can cater for more than our party (which was 4). If you're any questions, the owners can be found in The Henry Guest House just across the road and nothing is too much trouble. They are very friendly and welcoming ...... a bottle of bubbly was in the fridge and a large box of chocolates on the table greeted our arrival. Wireless internet was available if required... more
