We were due to visit Bath this weekend for a friends hen doo. Normally when we have stayed we booked into The Holiday Inn or similar. This weekend we decided to push the boat out a bit as we were only there for one night, and booked into the Bailbrook Lodge Hotel, and we are so glad we did. From... More

Fantastic stay, made to feel very welcome by all the staff who couldn't help enough. A special mention to Ed for his help advising on places to go and places to eat, a credit to the hotel. A beautiful hotel full of character and quirks. Handy for going into Bath by bus save trying to park but suitably based to... More

My wife and I stayed just for one night and have promised ourselves an early return soon. Justine welcomed us with coffee and biscuits followed by taking us to our extremely pleasant room. Justine takes much pride in the smallest of detail such as making sure that each soap in the bedroom has the wrapping facing exactly in the right... More

Just returned from a lovely stay in Bath. The lodge is a short walk (50 mins) from the centre placed on the edge of Bath itself. We were greeted by Justine and shown to our lovely four poster room overlooking the gardens. We hadnt realised one of our favourite bands was playing The Forum that night so Justine first tried... We were very tired Americans when we arrived at the lodge. Greeted right away by Justine who gave us all her attention. She gave us the tour and took us up to our second floor room. Great view, canopy bed, etc...we fell asleep for several hours and woke up hungry. Justine directed us to a pub about 10 minutes walking... More

We had Room 23 - The room was frigid. The radiators didn't work, although they were working in the halls and general areas. The key was not exactly right so unlocking and locking was a chore. In face, upon our late return it took me and my brother-in-law 15 minutes to get the door open. Having claustrophobia I couldn't lock... More

As one of the partners who own The Bailbrook Lodge, I would like to reply to this review. The customer has made reference a number of times in the review that the room was severely cold and that the radiators did not work. With respect the radiators do work and we can only assume that the client in error in... More

We were recommended to this hotel by a competitor, and it was a great find.....a little out of the city itself, but that made for a peaceful, pleasant place to stay at a bargain price compared to some very silly city-centre prices. Everything was really good, from reception through to breakfast the following morning. My only personal gripe was that... More

Great place to stay for a few nights in Bath. About a 10 min drive to the city centre. Comfortable and clean place. Friendly and helpful reception staff. Our room was very small and the shower was tiny but rooms have everything you need for your stay.

My husband and I recently stayed at this hotel for two nights in a room on the top floor. The hotel is in a good location with a taxi into the centre costing under £10 (during the day). All of the staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful, especially the lady on reception. Both mornings there was a variety of hot... More
