I took my wife here for a short break as we had not visited Bath before, and getting the room at a reduced rate certainly swayed my desicion to stay here. The location is great for a Travelodge, and one of the best I've stayed in, just a short walk to the town and right beside the canal basin. We... More

Just came home yesterday from a 1 night break at the Travelodge Bath Waterside. We had paid £12 in the Travelodge sale for our room and I was a bit dubious after reading some of the other reviews. I shouldn't have been though. Our room was very clean, excellent location - a lovely 10 minute walk to the centre and... More

THis is frankly one of the best Travelodges my wife and I have stayed in (on more than one occassion). Even the moaners have to compliment the place on it's location. (We always arrive by train.) I'm currently sitting in the room on my second night, overlooking the canal basin, using the free superfast wi-fi. We don't favour the TL... More

When reading the reviews after booking for three nights I started to panic ever so slightly... as it turns out there was absolutely no need to worry. Our room overlooked the water, was large for a Travelodge double room and the heater worked a treat on the coldest nights for years! Yes the pillows are thin but we managed to... More

We didn't get this hotel for £15 but paid £160 for 2 nights! Then it's £5 to park for 24 hours. Very basic hotel in need of modernisation, although the staff are friendly wouldn't go to a travelodge again. Bar area on first night showed all the soaps for an hour and a half then Law and Order and we... More

My husband and I stayed here for two nights on the winter sale offer. For £15 per night it was a bargain, the room ok but couldnt put anything in the drawers as they had dust and debris from previous guests. Lots of hot water and clean towels. We made a bad decision by eating in the restaurant bar the... More

My daughter and I paid £15 for a twin-bedded room. Check-in was notably friendly and helpful. The room was adequate and clean enough. Location is excellent: a short stroll to city centre shops and restaurants. Not the sort of hotel for a romantic break, but as an inexpensive place to stay the night, we thought it very good value. Ok, it's a Travelodge so no frills. This used to be a Hilton years ago and Travelodge appear to have ripped everything nice out to turn it into a Travelodge. Very very basic. Very basic. Plus points: £15 a night in their winter sale and just 5 minutes walk along the river into the centre of Bath. Negatives: just about... More

This s a fab location, we were lucky enough to have a view of the lake and it was simply lovely to wake up and look at the views. The room was a little warm but nothing opening the window didn't solve and we did have the usual ammenities too. Personally a great, affordable treat and such a surprise location,... More

stayed here for a night away with my mum for her birthday. i was not expecting great things as we all know travelodge has gone to bare minimum!. check in was fine, the room was freezing, actually freezing is not the word. The room has a blind rather than curtains and offers no protection from the howling draught. the room... More
