Stayed here for one night in Sept. Turned up with no reservation and managed a double room for 69 pounds, so was reasonable value. Convenient restuarant and bar attanched and big plus is big carpark, although is not free, but minimal charge. Hotel is coneveniently located next to Avon river, for a walk along the river past the cricket ground... more

Stayed here for two nights while and spent one day sightseeing in Bath. The room and bathroom and quite large, clean and comfortable. There are definately no frills but it was still fine. One particular grumble is that the carpark is a public pay and display carpark so not only do you have to pay 5 pounds per 24hrs to... more

I have to agree with lots of the other posters - this place is okay. Nothing special but good value for Bath. Staff friendliness was varied from sullen, to cheerful and helpful so pot luck on that front. Room as you'd expect from a Travelodge but I'd advise a room away from the road if you can. I would use... more

First the good bits - It's a Travelodge so you know what you're getting - basic but clean - nothing more nothing less. Also, have to comment on a really helpful nightstaff when I had a bit of an emergency. Now the not so good - We had a road facing room that was very noisy (lousy glazing) and because... more

We stayed for 4 nights, our room overlooked the river it was small but very clean. We prepaid for breakfast for each morning, which were very good value. Although I am not sure everyone pays, as we waited on two morning for someone to come to take our vouchers but gave up and just went and helped ourselves. Having to... more

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights over the bank holiday weekend. We paid £29 per night and paid an additional £10 for early check in. We arrived at 11:45am and were checked in quickly by a FRIENDLY receptionist. It is probably worth saying this now but at no time over the 2 days did I encounter any... more

Overall we had a great stay. I managed to get this hotel for the bargain price of £12 per night which obviously helped. We were staying in Bath to go to the Races on Saturday (a great day out!). Arrived at 2.55pm to be greeted by a very miserable receptionist (the blonde one) who informed us that they were having... more

Positives:- View over river, walking distance to town, easy to find, price & parking Negatives:- On checking in arrived AT 2;45PM, and the abrupt receptionist told us rooms had not been allocated and we would have to wait for her colleague who was due in at 3PM. We were lucky, we were only travelling light and had come fron Bristol.... more

The Travelodge Waterside in Bath is a really well located place to stay and if you get a river and duck view room, it really is pleasant. Our room was clean, spacious and quiet with good facilities and a good view. We had a double room and this was easily great value for money - we got the room for... more
