Great location, amazing building. lots of character. We stayed two nights in the summer house. we were able to store our bikes in the shed next door, lovely private courtyard. A couple of gripes, check the price ... the price on Expedia did not include taxes and we paid £92 each night with a £16.30 additional payment so the final... more

The building is interesting and the location is very pretty and quiet. The local bus service makes it easy to travel into the Bath. Sadly this is not a hotel but an expensive B&B. The breakfast room is a very pleasant room that over looks the garden. Generally the large house has been filled with some may describe them as... more

We are clearly disappointed if ever anybody stays at Eagle House and leaves dissatisfied. However, we are on hand from approximately 7.30 am to 10.30 pm (seven days a week) and matters such as replacement hand/bath towels can be simply rectified if we have indeed made an error. Normally guests discard towels into the bathtub itself rather than leaving them...

The Eagle House was a very pleasant stay. The house is a wonderful Georgian gem just outside Bath. My wife and I rented a car upon our arrival in England and drove out to Bathford, a lovely little hamlet just outside Bath. We drove into Bath which took about 5 minutes, I understand the bus is very convenient also. There... more

This wonderful house proved the perfect place for a weekend retreat for 13 friends from which we walked the picturesque canal into Bath (20 minutes) and enjoyed the atmosphere and food in local pubs. John & Rosie Napier were the perfect hosts, they gave us the run of the house day and night yet were always on hand to offer... more

My husband and two teenage daughters (ages 16 and 13) stayed here for two nights in late June. John and Rosie could not have been kinder, with tips for getting in and out of Bath (we drove and it was very easy) and recommendations for meals at nearby pubs (one of which, The Long Arms, served one of the best... more

Our family of four stayed two nights at this manor tucked in the hillside village of Bathford on the outskirts of Bath. While portions of the house seem a bit worn around the edges, our spacious ensuite family room had a fabulous view and the equally large bathroom appeared to be recently remodeled. The remainder of the house was charmingly... more

My fiance and I stayed at Eagle house for a surprise romantic long weekend. On contacting the owner John he was very helpful and due to the late availability even discounted the rooms he offered. We were given the choice of a room in the house, a suite or a garden room in the walled cottage. The room we took... more

We enjoyed our short stay at this quiet, family friendly guest house very much and felt right at home. We received a warm welcome and the service was very good generally. John Napier was a perfect host. Unfortunately we stayed for a one night stop-over only before continuing our journey to Ireland. We appreciated it very much that it was... more

We stayed here over the Bank Holiday weekend and had a fabulous time. We were welcomed in by the owner who was more than helpful and hospitable at all times. We travelled on our motorbike and had no problems parking it safely away from the road. The house is lovely and has a great view over the back of the... more
