We chose Parkside from Rick Steve's recommendations for Bath and were not disappointed in any way during our two night stay. We had an en suite room, with a view overlooking the back garden. The location was very good, with all the major sites in Bath within 10 minutes walk. We stayed at Parkside just this weekend. It was a perfect couple of nights. It's close to the centre, but just outside the actual centre so it is very quiet, overlooking some private allotments/gardens. It is less than 10mins walk to the centre. Rooms are very clean. There are the small touches, like tea/coffee facilities in rooms with Fairtrade products.... more

This was just a gorgeous room - all greens and blues, huge room, high ceilings, great bathroom, very pleasant. Terrific location, easy walk throught the park to the centre of everything, parking opposite was free and unrestricted, gorgeous room and linens, lovely breakfast room and yummy breakfast.
