Friendly, attentive and helpful staff. Accommodation was very good and breakfast excellent. Pleasant location and a short flat walk from to the centre of Bath’s tourist attractions and a host of restaurants. Parking good. At the top end of the B+B range and a must if you are visting for a special occasion. more

We had the pleasure of visiting Bath once again and loved the web site of the Arlington Hotel (all our trips are through websites and have not been disappointed too many times). So we booked it - a little more to pay for but hey it looked worth it. We had the Zen room - disappointing for the price and... more

This is the second time we have stayed at the Ayrlington, and again enjoyed it. The hotel is very well situated on Pulteney road, a very short (5-10 mins) and pleasant walk from the centre of Bath. The hotel itself has a beautifully kept garden, looking out over the bowls lawn and Abbey, complete with Koi carp pond and statues... more

We booked this hotel on the strength of reviews on tripadvisor and were not disappointed. We were taking friends from America to Bath and wanted something reasonable but convenient and preferably with some character (we've all stayed in enough ubiquitous hiltons). The rooms were a good size (for a city hotel in the UK). We had a great view across... more

This hotel was so comfortable and pleasant. It exceeded our expectations and was a welcome refuge after a long day of traveling and less pleasant accommodations in other cities in England. Our room (Empire) was very pleasant and spacious, with a beautiful view of the garden. Breakfast was great; loved the fresh fruit and full English breakfast. We were grateful... more

We just returned from our trip to England, and I want to make sure I let people know what a great hotel this is. I booked the hotel based upon their website and some of the reviews I read on Tripadvisor. I was not disappointed in the least. We were greeted by our very friendly receptionist, Audrey, upon arrival. She... more

My husband and I recently visited The Ayrlington, which we found via the internet and thought perfect. A little more then we wanted to spend but we thought it would be worth it…..OH HOW WRONG. Please do not be fooled by the 5star rating and a very clever website. The hotel is a complete let down. This hotel should be... more

We were visiting Bath with our teenage daughter. Both rooms were well equipped, very clean and had excellent views across the garden to the Abbey beyond. The car park was tight but we had no problem finding a space and it was only a few minutes, pleasant walk to the city centre. The staff were very friendly and efficent. Breakfast... more

We booked two nights in Bath to have a break from London and booked based on the reviews on here. We paid £120 per night for a luxury room...I was disappointed. It was large but dated and a little rough round the edges. The bathroom wasn't very nice at all, whirl pool bath didn't work, and overall was dated. The... more
