We have just returned from a weekend in Bath, where we were attending a friend's wedding. We were very impressed with the Laura Place Hotel. It is a B&B within a Georgian Townhouse, which was built in the 1790s. Our room was enormous, and the ensuite bathroom was the largest that I have ever seen - it would have taken two double beds with ease. We had a four-poster bed, and were enchanted by the period features (shutters on the windows and appropriate decor). Breakfast was amazing - a very good "Full English", which would put many a hotel to shame.
The location was amazing. If you can stay here, do. It is on Great Pulteney Street, and is in the centre of bath.
The only downside was that our room was on the ground floor, and there was some noise from passing pedestrians at night.
All in all, a thouroughly enjoyable stay.
