This place is rather more like a backpackers hotel opposed to the very decadent and corporate image which is portrayed on the website, the building was full of teenagers presumably other guests, but were all milling around the lobby. The website for this hotel is totally misleading, it is marketed as a contemporary hotel! we booked a four poster room number 6 (a superior was unavailable), the decor was most definately not modern! the bed was extremely uncomfortable after 3 nights we both had back ache. Stayed here for two nights(thurs & fri). We were on the top floor at the back of the hotel, so we didn't encounter too much noise as it was raining when we were there, people went home a bit earlier. I would definitely stay here again upon a return visit to Bath. The hotel is located only a few hundred metres from the train and bus stations, and is but a stone's throw from the city's entertainment/dining district. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the lively hotel bar/pub is a great way to unwind and meet locals and people... more
