We stayed one night here on their £9 pre-booked rate and so did not expect too much. We were in a top floor rear room with views over the city. The room was set up for disabled users which meant a reasonable size room and large bathroom. It was Youth Hostel standard in terms of decor and facilities. The shower... more

This is possibly the worst hotel I have stayed in! No parking, above a night club, tiny room (you virtually couldn’t walk around the bed) unfriendly staff at reception, dirty bathroom and the most uncomfortable bed I have slept in. When we tried to check in early only by an hour we were told that we had to pay an... more

The location is great! We stayed Tues - Thursday and was able to get a room for 35 GBP per night ($52). We were expecting a not so clean, loud, uncomfortable room, but was pleasantly surprised. We didn't hear any music from the bar below (possibly because we didn't stay over the weekend). The hotel was central to everything, very... more

This is easily the worst Traveldoge I have stayed in, and one of the worst UK hotels I have used. It's a disgrace. The biggest problem is noise from outside: the windows are not double glazed and so, if you are on the street-side of the hotel, you can expect to be woken up by drunken shouts from 11pm -... more

I had a room on the ground floor, at the back of the hotel. No noise from the nightclub, but one of the restaurants on the corner had their bottlebank nearby and cleaning up meant they were chucking glass about after half eleven at night. Other than that bit of noise, this was a decent nights sleep at a fair... more

Excellent location in the centre of town but is let down by a lack of long stay parking. Room was standard Travelodge; clean but basic, but the bathroom could have done with some attention as some of the tiles were mis-matched and ill fitting. Our room was on the second floor facing George Street and it sometimes got a bit... more

This hotel is Ideally located for visiting the centre of Bath. It is however surrounded by noisy bars, has a night club in the basement and has become very popular with Stag do's and Hen nights. Do not expect a peaceful nights sleep. more

Despite this Bath establishment being not only the worst Travelodge, but indeed the worst hotel that I have ever stayed at (and there have been quite a few), I feel inclined to comment on the positive aspects of my stay. Firstly, the service was reasonable and staff were courteous and willing to help, despite evidently being rushed off their feet... more

Having stayed recently in a few modern and newer travelodges this lodge is really looking tired and worn out. The paint is coming off the chipped and dented walls, the furniture is bashed and damaged and carpet is well used!! The view was of a wall but for one night this was not an issue. There is obviously no air... more

A very good location in the centre of town, close to restaurants and roman baths etc. Large room with not much in it, very drab. Absolutely no comforts - a bar of soap and towels and that's about it. No tissues, hairdryer or such. Parking close by at extra cost. Lots of noise during the night - people yelling etc.... more
