Mine was a 2 night stop over in mid October 2009. A pleasant 10 minute walk to Bath City Center makes No 14 an ideal location for visits to Bath. The house is very nicely furnished and is kept clean and tidy. Breakfast was very good and the Landlady I found to be a delightful lady, though mind, she runs... more

Staying here (which I have several times) is always a highlight of my Bath visits, as the house is genuine Georgian, with it's tall windows, beautiful stairwells, and high-ceilinged rooms. Mrs. Guy has stunning, modern and traditional art throughout the house-an amazing and skillful contrast, as her taste and sensibility is unique. Bathrooms are between floors, which is convenient for... more

We stayed here during December, 2008 and I have to say the stay was a mixed bag. The good points were that it had a nice decor, location, (although it wasn't the best about a 15 minute walk to the city centre - there were others that were better) and adequate facilities. Price was reasonable, but not that much cheaper.... more

After reserving a room in advance, Mrs Guy called us late morning on our arrival date, to inform us that she had double booked the room. She was incredibly apologetic, and had arranged for accommodation in another B&B close by. Mrs Guy had offered to pay the difference in rates at the new place (quoted as £10 more expensive), and... more

Great location. Beautiful listed Georgian terrace. Room of a high standard. The walls are covered in countless works of art, mostly modern. For the price this has to be highly recommended. We had a great breakfast: full English, cereal, toast, tea, coffee, fruit etc. The owner was very helpful and pleasant and not like the description given by some on... more

I very much enjoyed the night I spent at 14 Raby Place. My room was a huge single with a very comfortable bed, outfitted with a piano, TV, bookcases and a very attractive mantle. The room's best feature was the very tall window looking over the backyard garden, with shutters you could close for privacy. The bath was up the... more

14 Raby Place is a B&B within walking distance of most everything in Bath. We stayed there twice on the same trip...once at the beginning and then a month later on our last night in England (we had to drop the rental car off in Bath). Our first visit was wonderful. We had the top floor front room. What a... more

We stayed here for Valentine's Day and had a really lovely break. The house is stunning with lots of interesting modern art combined with the character of the Regency building. The room was impeccable, again with interesting art & artefacts, and the view across the Bath skyline was perfect. The location is great as you're within a few minutes walk... more

We stayed at this B&B for two nights and had a great time. The house is beautiful with fascinating artwork and really lovely rooms. We were on the top floor facing out over Bath and our room was spacious, bright and very comfortable, with tea and coffee provided together with a small seating area. The breakfast was organic with a... more

The room and location were fine; the owner was peculiarly unfriendly. Aware of other negative reviews on this site, we were on our best behaviour (no idle chatter, respectably small fruit portions at breakfast, etc) but to no avail. She seemed unhappy throughout that we had presumed to intrude on her property, and became animatedly hostile on our last morning,... more
