We stayed for one night in one of the large rooms (room 1). Huge bathroom with a roll top bath. The room was quiet & clean. The staff were very friendly and relaxed, but also very professional & we felt welcomed. Breakfast was good with properly hot toast & good coffee. It is a bit quirky as there is no... more

Stayed in one of the larger rooms which was very spacious but the decor was tired and seemed a bit grubby. The worse thing was the lack of hot water . There wasn't any hot water from the time we checked in at 5.30 p.m to the time we checked out the following morning . It really put us off... more

We stayed for two nights for the weekend of a family wedding. The welcome we recevied when we arrived was excellent and we were delighted with our room. The hotel was conveniently placed for us to walk to the wedding venue and to see the sights of Bath. The breakfast served in the restaurant was cooked to order and was... more

My husband and I stayed at Milsoms when visiting Bath for a wedding. The first hurdle we hit was parking - the hotel has none of its own and the recommended car park was full, so my husband had to run up and down the steep hills of Bath to move the car half way through the wedding reception. Charlotte... more

This was an ideal location from which to explore Bath. We found this hotel during a previous trip to Bath where we stayed in the Travelodge just down the street which was terrible and more expensive than Milsoms with alot less to offer!! Our room was at the top of the hotel so there were some steps to climb, however... more

Stayed for two nights and extremely disappointed. Room was OK, but very noisy and hot. If you opened windows, traffic and drunken parties' noise into early hours was unbearable. First morning there was no hot water and no apologies except from a very embarrassed Polish girl. Breakfast in the Loch Fyne restaurant was a farce. Orange juice had run out.... more

My husband and I stayed at this Hotel over the Easter weekend, we have stayed at this hotel before with no problems. On arriving the dirty carpet is a put off, we had to ask twice for some one to attend reception. The room was clean but extremely hot, had to open all windows and turn off all radiators, also... more

We stayed for a weekend at the Milsoms hotel and had a pleasant stay - our experience was really pretty good. Our room (number 9 - at the top) was a decent size and comfortable. You certainly won't get cold in this hotel and the long flight of stairs are enough to keep anyone fit. There was a slight problem... more

Grubby and uninspiring, this well positioned hotel in the centre of Bath, left a lot to be desired for the business traveller and tourist alike. The large double bedroom, at £120. 00 per night, left me feeling as grubby as the hotel. Sorry, the collection of rooms with one poor foreign girl on reception, which was a desk in a gubbyhole.... more

Very disappointing - not recommended. Gloomy, grubby and noisy. You could do a lot better for the money. more
