If you are visiting Bath, England, or Stonehenge, plan to stay at the Chestnuts House, an excellent Bed & Breakfast in the city of Bath, only a ten minute walk from the train station and next to a beautiful park. We had a large triple room, beautifully decorated, comfortable beds with duvet covers, large modern bath with ammenities, and you... more

What a great location! Not only that, but super clean, super friendly and great breakfast. Thanks Toni for a very comfy bed and your pleasant conversation in the morning at breakfast. I ate vegetarian and my husband had the traditional breakfast and we were both satisfied. We really enjoyed Bath and will definitely recommend your place to our friends. ;o)... more

We stayed at the Chestnuts for a few days and we loved it. Breakfast, cooked to order, was absolutely delicious and varied. The owner, Toni, was very helpful at all times. We booked two trips to the Spa through him and he provided us with a spa kit with fluffy towels and slippers. There were lots of information leaflets and... more

Thanks to comments on Tripadvisor we decided to stay 2 nights at Chestnut House in Bath. We were certainly glad that we did. What a gem, we had Room 1 at the front of the house which had a spacious bedroom and bathroom ( with a bathtub much to my wifes delight) Our host Toni was always friendly and helpful... more

I avoid hotels and this B&B is the reason why. It's exceptionally clean, comfortable and most of all welcoming. It's easy to get to. Off street parking is an added bonus. The variety offered at breakfast is excellent and sets you up for a gentle walk into town. I can't believe it was the first one I looked at on the... more

Wonderful B&B. Toni is the nicest man ever and was even willing to accomodate extra wishes. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, the bathroom perfect with a rain shower and of course the breakfast was very good. Thank you again more

My mom and I stayed at Chestnuts House for 2 nights and it was perfect. Tony was helpful and welcoming. When we arrived I mistakenly parked on the permit only street and Tony kindly spared me having to move the car and parked our car in his drive for us. Much appreciated after being on the road all day. The... more

My husband and I stayed at Chestnuts House for 2 nights to celebrate my 40th birthday. From the moment we had our first contact with the owners of the guest house, to the moment we left, we can only say that nothing was too much trouble for them. We needed to book a taxi to the train station on our... more

We are not usually B&B guests, but Chestnuts was a good compromise for us. We did not feel as if we were intruding in someone's home, since the owners do not live there. Just about everything at this home was excellent. The location is on a quiet street a block away from a park, yet close enough to walk to... more
