Where to start, great hotel, wonderful staff...room was just what we needed....close to bath.....but far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist trap....trust us....and try the wonderful meals created from the kitchen...the leak and lamb pie is to die for ....as was the pea and ham soup...only minor fault (for us) is the pillows... In the room...A... More

Don't be put off by the slightly run down outside appearance. The rooms are clean and well decorated. Breakfast was excellent and bar staff very helpful in arranging a taxi to take us to a wedding.I would recommend this hotel for short stays.

I used this hotel for one night as it was close to Bath University , Both of my sons were competing in the Excalibur fencing competition at the university. Staff were friendly and helpful. Restaurant food was very nice and plentiful, room was freshly decorated and shower was great. Breakfast was good with plenty of choices.

I travelled with my 9 year-old daughter for a weekend at Longleat / Bath. The Radstock was centrally located to both, and although an old building. the rooms are pretty good. 2nd floor have been fully refurbished, while the 1st floor rooms are pending refurb - although tired in decor, they are wonderfully clean - I can't praise the staff... Stayed 2 nights here to visit bath, very welcoming, nice room, breakfast was brilliant (as was the bar food). About 10 miles from bath, easy drive, bus or taxi journey. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

Even though we arrived before noon, our room was ready and lovely and clean. Although the pub itself is old, the room was surprisingly modern with a huge shower, comfortable bed and nice fresh decor. We requested a quiet room and weren't disappointed with ours, on the top floor at the end. You probably need the windows closed as there... More

This is my second stay here......good standard of room...and en suite. Ate there 2 nights and food was fine.....beer was good too. I requested a slightly earlier breakfast and they accommodated me too. Car park could do with some lighting and the locals seem to rip past in there cars....so a soiled glazing upgrade would be nice On the whole.....does... More

We arrived after a long journey and was greeted by the Landlord who welcomed us, we were booked in quickly and told dinner did not need a reservation. The room was light bright and airy, and was very clean. The only thing is the better quality rooms are at the top of the pub on the 2nd floor and could... More

we booked a night in the radstock after finding all central bath accomodation full but am really glad we did, the bus takes you straght to bath centre without the cost and hassle of trying to park, it runs from just outside the hotel till quite late, the hotel had a lot of character - not your premier inn but...
