I went to the UK for my 31st birthday and to visit 2 of my best friends. One of them and I did a mini roadtrip and we drove to Bath to spend a day. She booked this B&B, and at first glance, I honestly couldn't really tell if it's a shop or B&B. The major problem would be the... more

I read reviews on this site after i booked, and looked at going else where, but i'm glad we didn't. They are naughty with the website!!! but you can tell there really trying,Rachel is the star of the show, first impression was she's was a bit rough and ready, but we arrived at 11am and she may of just finished the... more

Bath is a beautiful city, thronging with tourists. Perhaps that's why The Belvedere charges £80 per night for a room with a broken window, no hot water in the morning, mould on the shower head, unemptied bin from the previous occupants and a dodgy tasting sausage in a full English breakfast that we (sensibly) did not partake a second time. more

All I can say is I wish I had read these reviews prior to booking a weekends stay in this hotel! The room was damp and dirty, there were damp marks on the ceiling, the ceiling light was broken and falling off the ceiling, the lock on the door doesn't close properly, the noise from the pub was continuing on... more

We stayed in the Belvedere to see in the New Year. It was a dreadful experience, the rooms were dirty, and breakfast took about an hour and a half to appear and was over cooked when it did finally arrive. The help yourself to cereals was difficult as no bowls were supplied. The bar served short measures and the glasses... more

I stayed here with two friends for a girly, relaxing, childfree weekend from 14th - 16th November. We need another break to recover! The rooms look nothing like the pictures on the website. Ours had a king bed, a double sofa bed, a single sofa bed and a single bed crammed into it! We stayed in room 1 which STANK... more

Myself and my boyfriend booked this for a short weekend away. I had read some reviews that said it was okay and others that disagreed but undaunted we set forth. The b&b is located at the top of a hill which offers amazing views of the city and an even better view at night of everything lite up. The rooms... more

I should say that I have never written a review of a hotel or B&B before but this place was very disappointing and not what we were lead to believe by the website so I wanted to warn other people. This place was dirty and smelt strongly of dampness. The room was big but had been neglected and was tired... more

Set at the top of a hill about 10 minutes walk from the Roman Baths, the Belvedere is the ideal place to stay when visiting Bath. The price was reasonable, the room huge, the beds outstandingly comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. It's easy to find (which is more than you can say about many places in Bath), well... more

My boyfriend and I have just returned from a few days visiting Bath and the Belvedere was the first place that we stayed at. We had told the person on the phone when we booked that expected to arrive at about 2pm and we were a little surprised when we called when we were about 10 mins away at 13:30ish... more
