Stayed for a half term break. Got the last room on the top floor (number 10) so expected a cramped dingy room. Couldn't have been more surprised. We were booking into the sister hotel Oldfields but they only had one night available we wanted 2 so were shown across the road to One Three Nine. We enjoyed our two night stay at this Inn. It clearly felt more like an Inn than a B&B (which was a plus for us). All the superlatives mentioned by other posters applied to our stay. It was more like a 15 minute walk to the city enter which we found to be fine. If necessary taxis are readily available... more

Had a great two night stay here, would thoroughly recommend. Lovely spacious room, spotlessly clean. Great welcome from owner. We didn't mind the ten minute walk back from city centre as it gave us time to digest our meal and meant we were in a quieter area. All the staff worked hard to make our stay special, well done. more
