We visited Dunster for a wedding and Mill Stream Cottage and Sue couldn't have been more welcoming after a long, dark, twisty journey from Surrey. We were lucky enough to spend two nights there, but even so we really had to drag ourselves away. The cottage is beautifully decorated, without wandering into that dodgy chintz effect so beloved of English... more

We booked just one night at millstream cottage. Sue made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived and we certainly didn't want to leave the next day. Beautiful cottage, comfortable rooms and delicious food. We will definitely go back again. more

Millstream Cottage is perfect for a trip to Exmoor and in particular the picturesque village of Dunster. It's walking distance from the charming boutique shops, restaurants and pubs. There is parking on-street outside the cottage or nearby in a carpark (£3.20 per 24hrs at the time of writing). The cottage itself is full of character and we were made extremely... more

Have just returned from a lovely stay at Millstream Cottage - can't recommend it highly enough - spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, fantastic breakfasts - Sue, the owner is a lovely lady, extremely helpful and very easy & interesting to talk to. The attention to detail is fantastic and the b&b very warm and welcoming, especially on a dark and cold... more

We stayed for a weekend at this lovely B&B, weather was awful but the warmth and hospitality of Sue at Millstream Cottage made up for it. Sue's homemade cooking was superb, apple cake on arrival, cookies in our room and a great choice in breakfast from smoked haddock to full English, all presented and cooked beautifully. Sue was a font... more

Just had a wonderful 3 nights at Sue's b&b. Beautiful rooms and guest lounge with log burner, and all kept spotlessly clean. Loved the peace and tranquility and it was just what we were looking for. Lovely breakfasts, and the tea and cake on arrival was very gratefully received. Sue is very knowledgeable on the area and is happy to... more

We stayed at Millstream Cottage last year and once again enjoyed the lovely hospitality this weekend. Sue is an amazing hostess and looked after our every need. The rooms are lovely and clean, tidy and very comfortable and unlike many other B&B's we felt very at home in the guest lounge with it's wood burning stove. Highly recommended and we... more

I'm a Quality Assurance Manager, a stickler for detail, service and cleanliness. I stay away quite a lot with my job, an average of 2 B&B's per week (I avoid hotels wherever possible as they lack the personal touches & super value that B&B's offer). Millstream cottage is by far and away the best B&B I have EVER stayed in...and... more

Just stayed for two wonderful nights with sue at Mllstream Cottage. The cottage is wonderful and Sue is such a good host. Cup of tea and chocolate cake to die for on arrival. Sue has such knowledge of Dunster and the surrounding area which we found very helpful. The Stag inn for evening meals is excellent. We will be back as... more

I won't be verbose in this review and normally it's my Wife who writes this sort of thing, but I feel compelled to inform the trip advisor community of a great experience we've just had in Dunster, Every six months, my Operations Director sends me to Somerset to view our licensed properties, in the Spring I stayed at the Westleigh... more
