I wish I had looked at the TripAdvisor reviews before booking this hotel. I now know why it had some vacancies - it was indeed disgusting, old and filthy. This place ought to be shut down - it was disgustingly dirty, smelly and damp! We booked 2 nights at the Market House Inn after looking at their website. I have to agree with the previous reviewer to steer well clear of this place. I say this with reluctance as I found the staff friendly and well intentioned. just wanted to warn any one thinking of staying here don,t. Double room cost 55£, we were unable to find anywhere in town. The whole place was so run down, smelly and dirty.
