We were put in the smaller room - which IS quite small - although there were no other guests that night. It was nice and warm, which was important on a cold rainy night! We were treated to a bit more information than we would really have liked on the subject of the FairTrade/organic provenance of the bedding, the soap,... more

If you want to stay in a calm, welcoming, comfortable house, sleep in a supremely comfortable bed, pamper yourself in a beautiful, spacious traditional bathroom, eat a delicious and thoughtfully prepared breakfast and be able to walk in 2 minutes to the centre of town, stay here. Prices are very reasonable anyway plus you only pay for breakfast if you... more

A great find. Lovely B&B. Comfortable, squeeky clean and stylish bedrooms and bathrooms. Carey is a great hostess who provides a warm welcome with real attention to detail. Good vegetarian breakfast. Have already recommended to family and friends. Will definately stay again! more

We stayed for a couple of nights as part of our honeymoon and had a fabulous time. Carey is very warm, friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The room is the largest we've ever had in a B&B and the grandest! Full of period features - brass bed, wooden floor, old fireplace etc and decorated with real flair and style.... more

I would highly recommend The White House as a base when staying in Glastonbury. From the beautiful natural decor to the organic veggie breakfast - this was a perfect and lovely retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the town. The proprietor Carey was welcoming and kind and we came away feeling very relaxed and happy. Many thanks! more

We had a lovely stay at the White House before and after our inaugural visit to the Glastonbury Festival. At first, I think Carey was a little unsure of our organised traffic fearing ways e.g the early requests for breakfasts, the Somerset maps but she soon warmed to us and we did to her! It was a fantastic place to... more

I would not stay anywhere else in Glastonbury; this is the one and only place! The rooms are great and clean!!! Each room has its own bathroom which is very clean and large. The rooms also are decently sized, plenty of room to walk around. Carey is by far the best hostess! She is very knowledgeable with the area and... more

In Glastonbury, you might expect the local population to be very eco friendly people, who would do everything they could to help the planet and it's people. Well, the owner of this delightful b&b, won't dissapoint. With an eco kettle that only boils what you need, to the fair trade soap in the bathroom, everything has been carefully selected. I... more

Just to clarify ... The doors to the Master Bedroom and its private bathroom are only inches apart (photo available on request) !

It was my first time to Glastonbury, but my boyfriend’s 20th. He had always camped before – I, however, insisted on a B and B! The White house was clean, cosy, bright and warm – with Carey running things brilliantly. A really stylish and yet relaxing house. Only 5 minutes from the high street it was the perfect place to... more
