If the wonderful bath/shower with awesome water pressure doesn't sell you, the breakfast here will. Anna lets you pick your breakfast choices and time of serving (in addition to an exotic fruit plate which included passion fruit and kiwi, and assorted cereals) from a great selection of locally sourced options..smoked haddock, eggs, bacon from a farmer down the road, sausages,... more

What a wonderful place to stay; quiet, airy, spotlessly clean and appointed with tasteful style. What makes Hillside really special, however, is the warm reception you get from Anna and Simon. They make you feel like part of the family - oh, and the breakfast!!! more

The house we stayed in was large enough and soooo comfy we wanted to stay there for a longer time. Everything was really clean and pretty (I loved they put natural flowers all around the house). Anna and Simon, the owners, were extremely nice and dedicated to us. The breakfast delicious and the best was the bed we slept in!... more

I went there without expecting much but I have to say: It is the best place to stay! I never felt so welcome and happy in a B&B. Everyone is so lovely. The food is AMAZING and the owner is so lovely. I couldn't ask more. The rooms are also very nice and I loved the big and clean baths!... more

Hillside is one of the most relaxing and scenic B&B we have had the pleasure of staying at. In fact we wouldn't even give it such a label, it's more than that, much more. Its a lovely big country house that makes you feel like your staying with good friends. Just behind the house sits The Tor one of Glastonburys... more

We stayed at the Fitzrovia Red Room in the Main House and were very pleased with the large space, modern and complete amenities (including a big en-suite bathroom), and cleanliness. The healthy and filling breakfast (with many options) was also heavenly. Hillside's location is perfect - on a quiet street beside the Glastonbury Tor with picturesque views. Anna & Simon... more

Hillside has ruined B&B experiences for me. I’m a seasoned B&B occupant and I have never come across anything close to the level of hospitality provided by the hosts at Hillside, Anna and Simon. I initially stayed at the Primrose Cottage Annexe, which featured a super kingsize bed, well-appointed kitchenette and modern bathroom, access to laundry facilities and a reception... more

Wonderful B&B & I would definitely go back again. The Red Room was huge with its own large ensuite bathroom. Breakfast was delicious (particularly the fruit plate!) and the hosts were friendly and welcoming. Excellent value for money. more

This is a wonderful place to stay and would put many 4/5 star hotels to shame. The rooms are airy, spacious and spotlessly clean. The beds are really comfortable and made up with lovely crisp linen. Anna and Simon are the perfect hosts and make you feel completely at home. The breakfast is amazing. All in all a great place... more

Well, I'm a reporter, and I'm used to travel all over the world in quite expensive hotels. And I was pleasantly surprised by this lovely B&B in the south east of England. Airy room, vast bathroom, very quiet, and the breakfast in itself is an experience. Strongly recommand the place, and Anna and husband Simon are absolutely adorable. I even... more
