Gay is a wonderful hostess, and it was a privilege to stay in this beautiful house. So close to the centre of Glastonbury. A breakfast to die for. Thoroughly recommended. Parking is plentiful. Right next to the public footpath up to the Tor.

Beautiful house, in a quiet area, 5 mins walk into town, and close to tor -I.e. excellent location. House beautifully decorated and comfortable. Excellent breakfast. Very friendly owners - and that includes the dog. Stayed in the Phoenix room which had a great view.

This is our favourite place to stay in the area. It's a small manor house overlooking the town which has been progressively restored over the years and is a work still in progress in parts. Very bohemian, eclectic, shabby chic B and B whichever term you fancy but certainly unique with artwork everywhere and a friendly lurcher and reserved cat... More

Thank you for your kind words about our Bed and breakfast. Looking forward to seeing you again. I feel I should point out however that I have not reduced my prices. I have variable rates with a sllightly lower rate in the off season. But my high season price is slightly higher than last year. I'm glad you think it... More

Beautiful spacious house with lovely gardens. The house is obviously owned by an artist & full of fabulous things...the two best being Betty Blue, the rather doe eyed lurcher & a slightly portly cat. Comfy beds, lovely bedding & fabulous shower room with gorgeous organic toiletries. Breakfast delicious & a great choice....all ethical too. Will definitely go back. ( I... More

What could you possibly not like about this little Bohemia central with chic and tradition thrown in? The location, rooms and food were fantastic and the hosts........perfect hosts. The owner appears to be a gifted artist too and her knowledge of the area and its history quite full. We went walking up to the Tor which is very close, also... More

I booked all of the rooms at the chalice hill house in August 2012 for 2 nights. Myself and my husband got married in the Magical town of Glastonbury,. Fay was the most genuine person we have ever met along with her partner. We all adored the company of Betty the dog too. Nothing was too much trouble. I had... More

My wife and I stayed for 4 nights in this charming manor house. High Street of Glastonbury is a short walk from this hotel. It is easy to climb the Glastonbury Tor from the path next to the hotel. I am grateful for the warm hospitality of Ms.Fay, the owner. Artistic and unique room, beatiful breakfast, the dog(her name is... More

This was most unpleasant. The last review i wrote the owners had it removed claiming it to be "" fraudulent"", so i am hoping that now trip advisor will let me post another genuine review. This b&b is not what it is made up to be. The owners live in the entire house so you have no real privacy. There... More

Everything was perfect but know where your going. We came late and were warmly welcomed but the location, which is perfect is hard to find. The breakfasts were delicious and the room was quiet and comfortable. made for a great start to our UK holiday.
