No sleep at all!! Paid extra for an 'executive room' which was nicely appointed although the mattress was nearly worn out. Trouble is these rooms are directly over the bar. Used to attend a meeting. Under new management. New management up-grading. Has a few quirks but was very satisfactory over-all. Very friendly. Owner/Manager gave me a lift in his own car to the out-from-centre train station. In thanks for this and for pleasant stay, I am belatedly giving this favorable review! more

I was very impressed with this hotel. The room was very clean and nicely decorated, nice bathroom too with a proper bath and a powerful Mira shower. We chose the Cathedral Lodge for it's proximity to town, which is very good. Our room was recently re-decorated and clean, but very basic, and not the sort of room that you would want to spend any relaxation time in, other than sleeping. There were no bedside lights and a tiny radiator that just took the chill off the room.... more

Lovley little hotel in the centre of lichfield, great parking easy to reach the town cente, the hotel itself has really great food and the breakast is lovley, staff are always happy to help great place will stop again more
