I've just returned from a great overnight stay at this charming Bed and Breakfast. The place is spotlessly clean with tastefully decorated rooms creating a very homely atmosphere. The Bed was extremely comfortable and there was a lot of attention to detail in terms of the facilities provided. My room, Room 1 has a private Patio/Balcony which I took advantage of for an early morning coffee viewing the surrounding countryside. The owners give a warm welcome and provide a huge feast of a Breakfast to set you up for the day served in a bright Conservatory. Although it is located adjacent to a busy A Road, the rooms are double glazed so noise is minimal. There is also a good Indian Restaurant and Traditional country pub just a 5 min. walk away. if you want a bland, sterile overnight stopover, go and stay at a nearby faceless Hotel. However, if you want a warm home away from home feeling, you'll certainly get it here. more
