We have just come back from a weekend lesiure trip to Alton Towers with my husband and young son. We stayed at Ley Farm for one night. From the moment we arrived nothing was too much trouble. The room we stayed in was at the front of the house with original features ans stylish interior inkeeping with the house's heritage. After a long day at the waterpark on Saturday it was nice to come back to some peaace and quiet. My three year old loved playing in the garden. We all slept like logs and woke to a superb full english breakfast with all the trimmings. Kathryn and her husband were very welcoming but yet very professional. I would definatley stay here again,it was cracking!!! more

This is such a cracking little B&B (well I say little, it's a huge farmhouse) that we felt we had to tell people about it for the first time.
We stopped here after having our hotel room double booked at a nearby hotel and we are very happy that it ended up this way, as the farmhouse was 110% better than the hotel. We were in Cheadle for a surprise 60th birthday party we had organised for my Mum and we were supposed to be stopping at The Manor in Cheadle (very scruffy rooms there I'm afraid with a managers attitude to match).
Anyway, we were struggling to find alternative accommodation until I came across Leyfields on a very quick internet search (the party was 2 days later!) and the photos on the website really do not do the place justice as it is a beautlful country farmhouse and working farm (from what we could tell anyway).
Kathryn and her husband were very friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Even going as far as offering to give us a lift...
