I have stayed there for a couple of nights this month as an alternative to one of the chain hotels in Bury. This is sometimes a bit of a risk because small independant Inns can range from the wonderful to the down right horrid. Lovely 16th century Inn on the edge of the Village. Rooms were in the converted Barns. Not large but comfortable and clean. Food was excellent and they used all locally produced food where possible. Excellent location for visiting Bury St Edmunds and Lavenham. Will be going again in the Spring more
