I ate here with my friends and their children and found the staff very impolite. The food was very ok but far too over priced. Stayed here on the way to Gatwick Airport and it turned out to be a great start to a wonderful holiday. Fantastic food, great hosts and an all in great place to stay. I write this report from cell 6 immediately above the bar. Every slurred word can be distinctly heard in this room, but blocking the noise out by tuning into the snow channel on the television isn’t successful. We stayed about a week in this Inn and it was great. Owners Gwyneth and Paul are lovely, helpful and friendly. Breakfast was tasty and bountiful, pub food was definitely not "grub" and more like what you find in an upscale restaurant. Rooms were very very clean. Place is out of the way, but lovely! more
