We stayed at the Inn on the Lake, Godalming for 1 night (2 Nov 2006). Whilst the room was pleasantly furnished, comfortable and with a lovely bathroom, the atmosphere is not that of a hotel. Inn on the Lake is a pub that has rooms for people to stay in as well.The room i stayed in was fantastic. Nice big bed, nice bathroom and a good selection of hot drinks to make. We had a lovely, romantic stay at the Inn on the Lake in 2000 and hoped to repeat it. Unfortuanately ownership had changed. The jacuzzi was missing from our room, along with the "hot cooked" breakfast we so enjoyed. My husband is from Guildford and was very disappointed with the changes.
