This hotel did not live up to its website. The hotel rooms shown on their website are obviously the few that are located in the original part of the hotel. The majority of the hotel rooms are to be found in the souless modern section of the hotel - the corridors leading to the rooms were without decoration of any... more

We did a last minute break to celebrate my birthday. It was a very reasonable £129 for dinner for two, bed and breakfast. Good points Friendly staff Big beds Spa looked quite nice but we didnt get to it as getting a cup of tea took too long Meal had lots of nice "chefy" touches Nice wine! Bad points Rooms... more

We booked an overnight stop at Lythe Hill on our way to the coast and our only disappointment was that we only booked one night and not more! From the moment we stepped out of our car staff were helpful, polite and attentive. We had booked a Lastminute break that included B&B and a-la carte evening meal. Which turned out... more

I can't say how disappointed I was when I pulled into Lythe Hill. I'd decided to go away for a couple of days just before christmas and it looked with the the refurb it might be worth a visit. This place is weird for something that describes itself as a country house hotel. Firstly, the reception is cold and uninviting... more

Stayed at the Lythe Hill for a wedding in nearby Easebourne. The setting is very pretty and typically English, but we found the rooms to be very small for the price that was charged. Their rooms were modern but very small compared to North Anerican hotels. Staff were pleasant and breakfast was adequate more

Stayed here for one night in October 2007. Smartly decorated room in what I assume in the refurbished part of the hotel. Good points? Nice decor, Freeview LCD team well positioned in room on wall opposite bed, and free Wireless Internet Access was a pleasant surprise. Bad? The room had the narrowest bath I have ever sat in anywhere. I'm... more

I visited the hotel on a recommendation from a friend and have to stay i was not disappointed. We arrived on a friday afternoon and spent some time in the spa where the staff couldnt be more helpful. The facility seemed very new and definitely a plus point to the venue as a whole. In the evening we dined at... more

My family and I have just got back from a weekend at the Lythe Hill. My best friend got married there and we thought we would treat ourselves with a two night stay at what promised to be a lovely country hotel with spa. I was really looking forward to it because I had read that it had recently been... more

We returned to the hotel for another stay and we werent disappointed. ...................... despite the pouring rain we arrived to the warm welcome we were used to from previous stays. Help was at hand to show us to our room and an umbrella to shelter us from the rain.! We stayed in the Auberge this time which was a real... more

Celebrated my fathers 65th Birthday with a trip to Lythe Hill. Had a first class meal in the Auberge de France Restuarant (also has a first class cellar) spent a day being pampered in the spa. The Hotel has modern stylish rooms and a warm inviting atmosphire. A gem in Surrey. I will be returning!!! more
