Very misleading website. Booked a cheap deal (£29 a night) but would have walked away if anything nearby was available. I and three friends were booked into Cedar House, a separate building which resembled a cross between a broken down cricket pavilion and a scout hut. The lights by the outer door didn't work and the overheated hall and corridor... more

We stayed two nights for a family reunion. This hotel had everything you could ask. The rooms were lovely, the breakfast sumptuous, you only had to ask ...and it was granted. Receptionist Carly and staff member Umesh very obliging. A very tranquil location. Never before encountered coffee and tea making machines throughout the building! more

After paying £140 for a two night stay at the Branksome Place, Haslemere for my nephews wedding. My biggest mistake was not to read trip advisor before booking this hotel. The hotel website is so misleading, only showing the best bits such as the view of the main house and beautiful wooded areas. When we drove up the long winding... more

We booked a double room in this hotel about a year before we were due to stay there as part of a weekend away going to a friend's wedding. Being a little short on time we phoned ahead to let the hotel know we would be checking in for our double room that evening when we returned from the wedding.... more

After a very long drive to Haslemere, we we’re really looking forward to our romantic retreat at Branksome Place after finding the hotel on ‘Late Rooms.com’. We drove up the grand drive (Beware of pot holes and tight corners) and we’re really please when we saw the main house. It looked wonderful and grand, with Tudor styling and lovely grounds.... more

We paid ten pounds a night and stayed two nights. I had read the reviews so emailed Simone the manager who promised us a nice room in the main building. Although a bit on the small side it was perfectly clean and nicely appointed with a lovely view of the gardens which are a real feature of this hotel. The... more

Stayed here for one night via a De Vere special offer, however when we arrived were offered the bridal suite at a reduced price. This was a good sized room with a seperate sitting area. We received excellent service from the receptionist. more
