OK we stayed some months ago but with Christmas and all it took awhile to write this review.

We decided on 55 Degrees north as we were meeting family in Newcastle and wanted somewhere we could all meet during the day and have the three sets of family stay. Looked good on the website in fact it looked down right flash and on first impression it was.

They were very good giving us a parking space that wasn't included but beware if you have a large car and rubbish manouvering skiils, you have to get the car into a car lift which can be difficult if there are cars parked close to it.

On closer inspection the next day we found that:
a) there were dust balls blowing round the hallway
b) nothing had been dusted in a very long time
c) chewing gum stuck on the floor
d) the shower blocked
e) the phone didn't work because you had to set up an account and there were no instructions on how to do this
