I came to Newcastle to visit a friend for one day before going to Dublin, and picked this location because they offered a free airport shuttle. I feel really bad for the other person who had to endure the stag and hen party, as I had a very relaxing stay. When I checked in at 2 pm, my room on... more

the hotel was recommended as a family friendly place to stay by holidayextra.co.uk and had some great reviews. we decided to book in with our 2 children under 3 to ease our trip to spain the following morning. the hotel is nice and modern and the staff very friendly, but unfortunately is obviously a chosen location for stag and hen... more

I am a French teacher and went to Novotel with my 27 pupils and 6 adults. Staff (all members) were really kind to everyone, very helpful about any problem we had. Breakfast was very good with many things to eat and good value. I tried a dish at the restaurant (green curry chicken) and it was excellent too. Rooms are... more

If you were desperate for a place to stay and you have no other choice then stay here. Staff (Especially the manager) were rude and snotty. The rooms were very tiny indeed and the toilet was built for a very skinny dwarf. Got woken up loads by screeming lads on stag nights running up and down the corridors and staff... more

Ventured to this airport hotel overnight as my flight from Newcastle to LHR was leaving a 07.45am, as I was then travelling on to Sydney I wanted a bright and early start...I had to wairt over half an hour to check in as there was only one receptionist on duty. I wanted to get a meal in the restaurant and... more

We have stayed at numerous Novotel Hotels and are normally really impressed, but this one somehow wasn't quite as good. The hotel is relatively easy to find, the car park is big and the rooms are of the usual high standard. The pool and fitness facilities are adequate, but the prices of food and drink are high. The staff were... more

I'm very sad - have Accor Central Reservation number and that is how I booked this room. God, where to start.....ok, easy to get to, plenty of room in the car park. Reception was good.......room......haha, they've obviously tried to update. The main room and shower was great - but the toilet was a separate entity, stuck towards the door, an... more

First of all, I booked this hotel based on the "complimentary shuttle service" advertised on the website as I have no car. HOWEVER, I arrived at lunch time only to be told that the shuttle service WAS NOT available at that time and to get from the airport to the hotel I'd have to either pay for a taxi or... more

Novotel Newcastle Airport Its not near the air port, you cant even hear the planes, but you can see them in the distance if you’re lucky. Very close to the motorway though, with impressive road noise if you open some of the corridor windows just to see how busy the city is. The rooms were all facing the other way... more

Updated Novotel, not as close to the airport as you'd think. so not noisey. That said very good if you get a cheap rate & not bad at rack rate. Good big rooms & both a bath and shower in the room I had. Can't comment re. dinner but breakfast was excellent. Friendly staff. Make sure you download a map... more
