Great location and room size, nice and quiet and easy walk into town for bars shops etc. only criticism for me is the gym, very pokey, no windows, not what I expect for such a large hotel, 6 max then would be uncomfortable! Breakfast nice with views of the Tyne, overall a good experience.

Hotel is right on the river side, with all the rooms facing the river. Although the view across to Gateshead is rather industrial, you do get a good view of the iconic bridges. One downside is that the metro bridge is close by, and if you are a light sleeper this could wake you a bit earlier that you'd like....

Picked this hotel because it was 5 minutes walk along the river to the Metro Radio Area. It's four star rating is well deserved. Helpful staff, clean, tidy, fab location, £5 per night for car parking was very reasonable. All together fabulous.
