Location is fine but I really disliked this hotel. We stayed here for two nights and it was incredibly busy. Some of the reception staff were helpful, some weren't. Our key card expired after one night and it was a fiasco getting that sorted out. Meanwhile the loo had no seat cover which was very unhygenic. The room was ok... more

I stayed here on business for two nights. The hotel was situated in an excellent location right in the city centre with all major attractions within walking distance. Rooms were clean and comfortable and bright and airy. Customer service was faultless at reception with the staff being more than pleasant and helpful. One fault I had was that the food... more

Can I start by saying that this hotel will be excellant for some guests...meaning for example stag parties. The location is near faultless - a simple stagger back from all the bars/clubs. For possibly most other patrons though, it has it's limitations. Firstly, the reception was compared to other Premier Inns in great need of a good clean. For goodness... more

Despite being sited several floors above a major traffic interchange in central Newcastle this hotel afforded me a restful night. The hotel is well located for the city centre, though it is blessed with immediate access to key roads it lacks immediate grounds or gardens. It is I think 8 storeys high, my room was on the 6th floor overlooking... more

Overall a good hotel, the only let down being the breakfast that i had prepaid for, for three days. The rooms were comfortable, and clean. Not too much noise from other geusts, the most noise was from the church bell up the road the rang on the hour, EVERY hour. Bathrooms were clean, although the water pressure left alot to... more

stayed one night for business, if the room wasn't so small I'd have been tempted to lash out with 5 stars but even 4 from me for a motel type place is a pretty high rating. Clean, helpful friendly staff, very central location, comfortable bed, quiet, good breakfast what more could you want, overnight parking next door at council place... more

I stayed at this hotel for a conference at Northumbria University. It was cheep, but very friendly, clean and convenient. The hotel is located right in the city centre and you can walk from here to all the attractions. It's also close to Northumbria University. Moreover, it is a 5 minute walk to the train station, from where you can... more

Stayed on business for one night in June 2008. Right from the moment of walking through the door, this was an extremely pleasant experience. A lovely friendly welcome from Amanda and David on reception, dealt with quickly and efficiently, with good explanation of facilities, times for restaurant etc. After only 5 mins in room, received phone call from reception to... more

I was in Newcastle to visit my daughter and new granddaughter and stayed for 6 nights at the Premier Inn on New Bridge Street. The location is great, you can walk to just about everything in town. The room was quite nice, clean, well-appointed. And it was wonderful to find a tub and not just a shower. Breakfast was hearty... more
