Osborne Road in Jesmond (where this B&B is located) is the heart of studentsville Newcastle. What was a quiet and kind of artisan place to live is now the place for throngs of over rich students. This is an excellent small restaurant (seating about 30) suitable for a cosy winter evening or good eating at any time. Food and presentation delightful from small menu but with good range of choice. Very pleased with hotel, which is situated central to the amenities of lovely Jesmond. Modern room, very clean and comfortable. Staff nice and friendly, plentiful breakfast which is served in a lovely dining area. Excellent for a weekend break in the fab city of Newcastle! more

This was our second stay in this hotel and things have only improved. First visit in summer of 2005 and again in Feb 2008, actually got the same room twice and in 2008 has been very recently done up to a high standard. We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights, the staff here were very helpful and friendly, so much so Charles gave us a lift to Gateshead !! The hotel has been under some renovations and which compliments the restaurant. Try the food as it is top notch. more
