Hotel clean and pleasant. We have stayed here before old and new many times but have noticed a change in the place. Cannot put my finger on it but can only put this down to the recent new reception/bar staff. more

This is an excellent small restaurant (seating about 30) suitable for a cosy winter evening or good eating at any time. Food and presentation delightful from small menu but with good range of choice. Very pleased with hotel, which is situated central to the amenities of lovely Jesmond. Modern room, very clean and comfortable. Staff nice and friendly, plentiful breakfast which is served in a lovely dining area. Excellent for a weekend break in the fab city of Newcastle! more

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights, the staff here were very helpful and friendly, so much so Charles gave us a lift to Gateshead !! The hotel has been under some renovations and which compliments the restaurant. Try the food as it is top notch. more
