Although staying in a non refurbed room, the standard was very good for the tariff. The bathroom had been upgraded and was spotless. Reception and waiting staff were excellent and the included breakfast (in our tariff) was really good; served hot and not at all greasy.A good all round 3* hotel. More

The New Northumbria Hotel is a large excellent hotel in Jesmond which is very convenient for Newcastle Centre. the area is very upmarket with nice bars and restaurants. Taxi into city only £5. Hotel clean, comfortable, helpful staff. Good breakfast. More

If you are looking for a cheap hotel, that is clean and basic in the suburbs or Newcastle then this is ok. If you are looking for somewhere nice and central...look elsewhere. The staff are very nice and helpful. More
