Beautiful hotel lobby and surrounding interior only wish we could have had our beds in the entrance lobby! We were placed in a family room 1 double bed and one single bed in the 4th wing (sounds impressive -NOT) the room was not very clean the carpet needed hoovering the bathroom was a disgrace paint peeling off of walls window sills all dirty cement bits on floor where tiles old and toilet that didnt flush properly. I spoke to reception and thy told me to mention it to the duty manager who was not available (funnily enough) so I spoke to the manager on duty the next morning before breakfast who looked at me as if I had two heads and how dare I complain it is after all a 4* hotel (I told him I wouldnt give our room a 2*) and he would pass my coments on to maintenance and nothing more for the money you pay this hotel room was appalling. more
