when we pulled up to the hotel after a long drive i was less than impressed, the area around the hotel and lobby was a bit scrufffy with rubbish in the flower beds and ciggie butts everywhere, the inside is a different story , the wing we stayed in was new and the rooms were clean and comfy, the pub... more

Good quite location, deliberately chosen to avoid the city centre rowdies, good clean comfortable rooms and extremely warm and welcoming staff in hotel and restaurant. First time in a Premier Inn but knew what to expect from other reviews on TripAdvisor - so I'm not the first to have things fall in the toilet because it's too close to the... more

This was the second time we stayed @ the Premier Inn - Holystone but the first since the hotel had completed extension. The hotel is located approx 10 mins from city centre just off the Coast Road so not too bad on taxi fares to/from centre. Our room was in the new part of the hotel and have to say... more

Stayed for 2 nights at end of February. Is a bit out of City centre but we were up for a family do in North Shields so not a problem to us. We were in a very new part so room was excellently clean. One thing we were concerned about was noise but no worries here. 2 very peaceful nights.... more

We stayed in this hotel because it was close to a friend we were visiting. To be honest the best we were hoping for was cheap and cheerful, but it was far better than that. The room was large and comfortable, the bed was very comfy, and the hotel was wonderfully quiet through the night - we had a great... more

I have stayed here a few times. A typical Travel Inn - very clean, fairly new, good facilities and very good value for money. What more could you want? Quiet, although handy for main roads. Plenty of parking space. Very good pub next door for meals & drinks - good value & children welcome. Some distance from city centre. more

Hey, this a very standard travel inn type place. Nothing wrong with it at all, clean, close to the Cobalt Business park, £40 cheaper than the Village around the corner. You know what you get with these places, and they didn't let me down. more

We spent a few days at this premier travel inn, and we were very pleasantly surprised. The bed was one of the comfiest we'd slept in. The pub next door had a good, mid-priced menu, there was plenty of parking, and the area was quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pub and hotel were recently built, and very... more
