Booked here with some trepidation, but it wasn't as bad as some have stated. No kitchen smells; no nocturnal noise. Bedroom was clean; small, but OK for one night as single occupancy. Sink, shower and WC clean, though the small bore sewage system is very inefficient - 3 flushes needed. Wall-mounted digital TV; radiator gave out lots of heat (thermostat... More

After reading the reviews I was alittle scepitical about my booking. I have travelled all over the world and stayed in various types of accommodation and for me there are some important factors. Cleanliness, comfort and friendliness of staff and this hotel provided me with all of that. I have to say the room was compact but provided everything I... More

Looked good from the outside, room was tiny, bathroom was really tiny and had not been cleaned at all - toothpaste and hair in sink, last occupants soap was still in soap dish, coffee cups in room had some food-like substance attached which were replaced the following day by cups with lipstick on, however, the bathroom still didn't get a... This hotel is v cheap and one can expect certain problems but I thought I'd let you know what these are in case you're interested: for me, the worst thing was the terrible smell that came from the kitchen. (School cabbage, deep fat fryer etc). The other main gripe was that you could hear everything from the other bedrooms, starting... More

we needed a quick fix for somewhere to stay in Kenilworth and found The Cottage Inn on late Rooms, a pub I know from years back, 47.50 is probably the correct price, but the double room was tiny, the shower room miniscule, no hot water at the sink, one bar of tiny soap, bed and floor boards creaked all night... We were visiting a young relative at Warwick University, and so looked for accommodation for one night as close as possible. The Cottage Inn at Kenilworth seemed to fit the bill perfectly. The Cottage Inn advertised itself as a quaint, historic country pub, only 4 miles away from our destination, relatively inexpensive, room rate included full English breakfast, free wi-fi,... More

We stopped over here for one night to attend an event at Stoneleigh Park (a 5 minute taxi ride away) Got a very reasonable price for a double room, although the facilities were basic they were adequate and everything was clean. Staff were friendly, and had a very tasty cooked breakfast in the morning. Overall good value and would stay... More

I was a little wary of staying here after reading some of the reviews posted by others, but I needn't have worried. My room was a little on the small side, but perfectly adequate for my single night stay, The en suite was a bit dated and not much room, but again fine for me. The hotel has free wi-fi... More

We enjoyed our stay. Our room was small but clean, well equipped and quiet. The pub serves good dinners for reasonable prices and the breakfast was also fine. We paid only £50 for a double b&b, so we didn’t expect five-star luxury. It is a very good value for money, and we will recommend this place to our friends.
