Had a one night stay in single room. Location of guest house superb,Room bright clean & fresh. bed very comfortable. Host was very friendly . Breakfast was fantastic. Excellent value for money will come again for sure .

I stop over here inbetween assignments which take me all over the UK, and find this a friendly, comfortable base from which to do either my business in the town, or take sortees into history, which is almost on the doorstep.The breakfast, too, is hard to beat.

Perfect welcome from the host David, nice clean bedroom, comfy bed, homely lounge room, and the most amazing breakfast ! Having stayed in the area on business for the past 12 years i found that the Abbey Guest House is Better than any hotel in the whole area. Would definitely book again & recommend
