We stayed over Valentines for our anniversary & on arriving we're upgraded to one of the most expensive rooms for free, which was a lovely gesture by the hotel staff & made our experience all the more memorable! The room was stunning, beautiful views over the Shakespeare school & Nash's house- the location made it a little noisy during the... More

Perfect location, lovely rooms with some thoughtful extras! We stayed in one of the cheaper rooms ( £140 a night over the weekend) but we felt that perhaps the room could be £20-£30 a night cheaper. The bar is lovely although absolutely packed on weekend evenings meaning that although the atmosphere is great, it's impossible to get a table for... More

Fantastic hotel, we stayed in Room 10 and nothing to complain about at all. Probably the nicest hotel we have stayed in in the UK and we will definitely return. The bar is fantastic with a really good atmosphere we also ate off the bar menu and in the restaurant and both were excellent. Breakfast was nice and we were... More

We stayed here at the beginning of December & had a lovely time. We were given the choice of 2 rooms, we went for one at the front of the hotel so we looked out over the town. The room itself was gorgeous & had lovely little touches like a minature bottlee of port & homemade mince pies in our... More

We had a lovely 3 night stay. Three excellent lazy and good quality breakfasts and 2 evening meals when it was hard to choose from the menu it all looked so good. Lovely room with all mod cons including wifi and flat screen TV, but also nice tea and coffee making stuff with real milk, biscuits and port. More

Been whisked away to this gorgeous hotel as a 40th birthday celebration and it's absolutely lovely. We were given Room 3 and it's exactly like the pictures! Lovely large room, roll top bath and clean beyond belief! There's a few extra touches such as port and chocolates which gives this hotel that little bit more. The staff are friendly, helpful... More

Stayed at the CST for two nights with husband - as a weekend without the kids - and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Great location and a nice buzz about the hotel - morning, noon and night. Not a cheap place, but didn't begrudge paying for the beautifully decorated interiors and intimate yet lively ambiance. Perfect for a special weekend away. Staff... More

The rooms and the service are great. However, Parking is a problem and although there are two local car parks one won't allow you to leave before 8am the other you have to leave before 8am. Parking on the street is possible but you are lucky to find a space. I would also recommend avoiding room 15 which has the... More

Our first visit to this hotel in Stratford-upon-Avon lived up to all expectations. We were delighted by the little surprises of a complementary flagon of port, a bag of shortcakes, fresh milk, real coffee and tea in the room. We were in Room 6 which overlooked Church Street. A little expensive at £160.00 but we wanted to be close to... More

We stayed at the Church Street Townhouse on the night of the 18th December 2011 for my husbands birthday and can not recommend it highly enough. As it was a Sunday night we were not expecting it to be busy and to perhaps even be slightly lacking in the atmosphere you would normally get on a Friday or Saturday night,... More
