We stayed for a murder mystery put on by Skulduggery... but first about the hotel! It is quite central to the town centre and is walking distance from the main tourist attractions (RSC, Shakespears birthplace, etc). The hotel is small and cosy but comes with no lifts, had to use the stairs all the time even to get our luggage in our room and had no help from the staff. Fine for staying in Stratford for events or shopping - we stayed one night to see Hamlet at the RSC and it was a 5 minute walk to the theatre and shops etc. Comfy bed and staff perfectly friendly.
