A friendly and efficient check in so off to a good start. Having booked an executive room we were disappointed with the size and even more disappointed to be on the road side of the hotel. Thank heavens we had air con because the constant traffic noise made it impossible to sleep with the window open. The location was good... more

I can write nothing but good things for the hotel -particularly the staff. The view isnt much from any room I guess- we got a wall facing room. Room was nice, location not exactly close to the railway station but very close to the town centre and theatres. Do try the room service- we were served the best coffees when... more

We stayed for a murder mystery put on by Skulduggery... but first about the hotel! It is quite central to the town centre and is walking distance from the main tourist attractions (RSC, Shakespears birthplace, etc). The hotel is a maze of small corridors, but once you can remember where you room is, it isn't too much of a pain.... more

This is a great comfortable, clean and friendly hotel. It's location to the town centre is very good as you can walk to all the Shakespeare attractions easily. The walk to his birthplace takes under 10 minutes. The parking is free, and so is the WiFi internet access. The food served in the restuarant is a bit pricey but very... more

I think this is the only hotel I've ever stayed in where I can't actually think of anything to complain about! We stayed at the hotel on one of their special murder mystery weekends which made it extra special and one of the best weekends of my life! We got to the hotel a little late to the weekends schedule... more

The hotel is small and cosy but comes with no lifts, had to use the stairs all the time even to get our luggage in our room and had no help from the staff. The rooms are nice and cosy more suited to older persons, but we loved the cleanliness. We had no fan or airconditioning though and the windows... more

We have just arrived home and for the first time I am writing a report as we had such great service and a wonderful stay. We booked via the hotel's website, which was quick and easy. I did book for breakfast in the hotel as we had our 4 month old baby with us (more on breakfast later). After booking... more

Fine for staying in Stratford for events or shopping - we stayed one night to see Hamlet at the RSC and it was a 5 minute walk to the theatre and shops etc. Comfy bed and staff perfectly friendly. Room clean, but could do with updating. Good bonus is free parking. Plenty of bars and restaurants around and easily within... more

Arrived here on a last minute road trip. It was listed in a book belonging to a friend. Cost was quite OK considering we just arrived at the counter on the night. They did try to offer an upgrade package that included a larger room, a bath, internet, bottled water, a banana and something else small. For the price variance... more

Stayed here for one night when visiting Stratford to see the RSC. Hotel was quite a bit cheaper than all the other ones in the area - we paid £65 wheras other places were at least £80+ Location: It's about a 20 minute walk from the station through the centre of town. This is fair enough but if you had... more
