My friend and I stayed 2 nights in the Virginia Lodge over the May bank holiday weekend 2004. The directions from the Virginia Lodge website were excellent - we found the place with no trouble at all. I have never stayed anywhere as charming as the Virginia Lodge. Our host was very charming and made sure that our needs were met. I would recomend this place to anyone. The gardens were beautiful. The place was emaculate. Our breakfast were delicious. Our room was so quiet and peaceful. My only regret was that my stay couldn't be longer.... more
