Room was comfortable, although bathroom showed some signs that cleaning was 'surface only', shower heads were black. Large internal roll down shutter to front window didnt give much confidence! Although asume this was for when Hotel was locked out of season?? Staff very friendly and helpful...although we did only see one member of staff, the male owner we asume, he was on reception when we arrived, the bar at 6.30 and in the dining room serving meals at 7.30....luckly for him we ordered bottles of wine through the meal so he didnt have to keep trecking to the bar which was at the other end of the hotel! And also he was up early serving breakfast and took our payment! This guy deserves a medal for working so hard..unless of course he is one of triplets?? If the same guy cleans the rooms then I understand why surface cleaning was necessary. Overall, Ok for a one night stop over, 5 mins walk to town but go out for meals & drinks and give the guy a break!. more
